I have been involved with the CDT for approximately 20 years now; starting as a volunteer building new CDT tread, mostly in the central Colorado Rockies (Collegiate Peaks, Cottonwood Pass, Mt. Elbert). Today, I am Board President of the Continental Divide Trail Coalition, which has been a tremendous honor and privilege.

You could trace the Trail across the previous 20 years of my life just as you could trace the 3100-miles of CDT across a map.

There is still much to accomplish, including closing approximately 160 miles of gaps in the trail (think: walking along a 2-lane highway with traffic flying by at speed), raising awareness of the CDT in the American consciousness, and supporting wild places and mountain communities along the trail corridor.
