Dear Friends, 

It is that time of year again when I humbly ask all of you to think about supporting the amazing work I am privileged to do and the team who I am blessed to work with every day.

Since 2012, CDTC has been leading the effort to ensure one of the most significant features on our planet, the Continental Divide, and the trail that follows along its spine remains protected and provides a place for connection to our past, present, and most importantly- our future. From time immemorial, the Continental Divide has been a signifier of life, and the place where water comes from the earth. The story doesn't end there, because every drop of water that emerges from the divide,  travels around the world until it comes back home and reminds us that we are all connected. The fact that Congress had the wisdom to place a trail along its spine and commit to its protection as one of our Nation's nationally significant places- is a responsibility we all have to protect and ensure it exists for all of our ancestors before us, and those who come after us.

I am constantly in awe of the support we continue to receive and that we have stayed true to the values upon which we launched this herculean effort- at the center of which is love. Love for each other, love for the community around the CDT, and most of all, love for the land and waters along the Continental Divide and the Trail it hosts. 

And it remains true that we can't do it without you. All of you. So please consider giving today to our campaign. If you donate this year I will once again match your contributions up to at least $1000!
